At NetLock, we firmly believe in the principles of open source and transparency. By making our code publicly accessible, we invite the community to review and contribute, ensuring the highest standards of quality and security. This level of openness is something closed-source providers cannot offer, as their code remains hidden from public scrutiny. Our commitment to transparency demonstrates our integrity and dedication to providing a trustworthy solution.
The easiest way to get started is by registering for a free account on our Members Portal and obtaining the Open Source membership. This membership includes the Windows agent (not code-signed), as well as the Linux and macOS agents. There are no limitations on device monitoring—you can monitor as many devices as you like! If you prefer not to use the Members Portal, you can download the project from GitHub, compile, and package it yourself. 😊
Limitations are primarily related to support options. While we do not provide direct troubleshooting for technical issues, you can join our community Discord for assistance or report bugs on GitHub. If you require professional support, such as server setup and upgrade assistance, or deeper troubleshooting you might want to consider our paid memberships. We always make sure to solve problems our paid users have!
In the fast-paced world of remote monitoring and management (RMM), staying connected with like-minded professionals can significantly boost your success. Joining the NetLock RMM Discord community offers unparalleled networking opportunities that can help you thrive.
